An old phrase meaning dusk, Owl’s Light depicts an Eastern Screech Owl preparing for another evening’s hunt. The Eastern Screech Owl, at only 8" to 9" tall, it’s the smallest eared owl in the Northeast. My husband and I were lucky enough to see one on an evening walk. Always fascinated by the beauty of our natural surroundings, my artwork is often inspired by elements of nature.
